{go make me} wax seal Easter eggs
I know you need just one more diy Easter egg project as there isn't enough going around in the world of Pinterest. Well you'll have to suffer as here's another one...wax seal eggs. I found these salted preserved duck eggs in the Asian supermarket and just loved the colour, think a light Tiffany's green. The eggs are so smooth, matte, and luxe. I thought the best adornment would be a wax seal (the preserved eggs last for months). PS – You can use this idea on any boiled or blown eggs
All you need is sealing wax, metal stamp, a tealight candle and twine. Here's how....scrape some wax onto a metal spoon and hold over a lit tealight candle. When melted, pour onto parchment paper. Stamp and let cool slightly before removing. Wax should still be malleable, with fingers gently curve to match egg shape. Glue twine and then seal onto egg
