I was sooo spoiled this weekend with a visit to the Quay Restaurant in Sydney, nestled in the Overseas Passenger Terminal opposite the Opera House. Yum! Peter Gilmore's dishes are more art than food in taste, texture and visual appeal. Of course desserts were on the agenda with the Eight-Texture Chocolate Cake (the eighth layer was drizzled on the cake at the table) and the famous Guava Snow Egg. Very delicious, but I warn you....the Chocolate Cake is veeeeeery rich. PS Sorry about the pics, I didn't take the right lens and I was pickled!
