christmas lunch at Bathers' Pavilion

Pudding
Food-at-Bathers-Pavilion

With most of our extended family in various parts of Australia or the world, our little family of three decided to treat ourselves to Christmas lunch at Bathers' Pavilion in Sydney. It's cool too; no stifling heat that seems to go hand-in-hand with a Christmas in Australia. Rather pleasant. And rather conducive for eating. Waaaay too much eating. But it simply isn't Christmas without some self-inflicted overindulgence and we certainly didn't disappoint. In hind-sight, I wish I'd smuggled out a menu so I could remember exactly what we'd just eaten. It doesn't quite sound the same when I refer to the 'Plum Pudding Thingy' , the 'Duck Sushi with a bit of Pasta' or the 'Caramelized Pineapple Tart with Stripey Ice cream'. I can't do it justice....you'll just have to take my word for it that the food was delicious. Burp (pardon me!)

I so hope that you had a lovely Christmas Day too and, of course, you didn't eat much....?

free Christmas themed sketchy christmas drawings to download

Christmas-Sketch-Vectors

One of my favourite blogs, Chris from Spoon Graphics, is offering these free sketchy Christmas drawings to download.  Snowmen and cold penguins are still very cute even though in Australia it's the middle of Summer. No scarves and mittens to be seen anywhere. Just think cold thoughts? Nah, going down to the beach instead

Christmas newsletter

Hi everyone! My blog has been quiet for sometime due to an enormous workload before Christmas. I'm sure you've been there and done that. I've just published my latest online Christmas newsletter titled "DIY last minute Christmas gifts and save money too!" You can view online here
